Who you gonna call? Apparently, the brewery. 

Ghostbusters fans are getting a new reason to celebrate this Halloween season. A New Jersey brewery is preparing to release a limited-time IPA called Ecto Ghouler.

Ship Bottom Brewery is set to release the beer on October 3, with the Ghostbusters-inspired brew available at its locations in Beach Haven, New Jersey, and Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.

And there's a pretty good reason for the October 3 launch.

The brewery is also hosting its annual Ecto Ghouler 5K in Beach Haven that morning. The race starts at 10 a.m., followed by an awards ceremony and post-race party at the brewery. Runners 21 and older get a beer at the after-party, and the best costume wins a four-pack.

So, technically, you could start the morning by running five kilometers dressed like a Ghostbuster and finish it with a beer named after a ghost.

That's either a great Saturday or evidence that Halloween has gotten completely out of hand.

The Ecto Ghouler IPA is a limited release, meaning you'll have a relatively short window to track it down.

And if they ever bring this beer to Michigan, we're going to need a very specific Mid-Michigan version:

The perfect beer for sitting in a lawn chair, watching somebody attempt to parallel park at Kroger, and wondering whether that strange green thing floating in your glass is supposed to be there.

For now, though, you'll have to head to New Jersey or Pennsylvania to hunt down the real thing.

Just remember: if somebody offers you a beer called Ecto Ghouler, don't cross the streams.
